Cougar Metals NL (Cougar) is an Australia-based company. The Company is engaged in the exploration and evaluation of the Pyke Hill Nickel project located near the Murrin Murrin Nickel Operation in Western Australia; exploration and evaluation of the Alta Floresta project in Brazil, and the provision of mineral drilling services to exploration and mining companies in Brazil. Cougars exploration activities at the Alta Floresta Project, during fiscal year ended June 30, 2008 (fiscal 2008), had focused on methodical, regional exploration within granted tenements, some on the periphery of what are considered the prospective but non-granted areas within the Alta Floresta Gold Belt. During fiscal 2008, the Company established a mineral drilling business in Brazil to pursue mineral drilling opportunities in the Brazilian resources and mining industry.
