PV man killed in plane crash

Pleasant View resident Bret Smith, a Clarksville Academy teacher and tennis coach, was killed this weekend in an East Tennessee plane crash. Smith, 40, died when his experimental plane, a 2001 SeaRey seaplane that he built by hand, crashed into Melton Hill Lake Saturday near Knoxville.
