Orbit Garant Drilling Inc. (Orbit Garant) is a Canada-based drilling company. The Company has three segments of operating divisions: Drilling Canada (including domestic surface drilling and underground drilling), Drilling International and Manufacturing Canada (Soudure Royale). The domestic surface, international surface and manufacturing divisions, including the assets of Phyl-Don Holdings and Management Ltd. (Phyl-Don), were added to the Company as part of the acquisitions of Forage Orbit Inc. (Orbit), Drift Exploration Drilling Inc. and Drift de Mexico S.A. de C.V., the latter two of which are referred to collectively as Drift. On January 31, 2007, Forage Orbit Inc. (Garant) acquired all of the shares of Orbit from the shareholders of Orbit in exchange for a combination of cash and shares of Garant. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2008, the Company added 13 rigs, bringing the total number of drills in operation to 119. In October 2008, it acquired Forage+.
