The mission of the Whitefish Community Foundation is to enrich the quality of life in the Whitefish area by: - Serving as a leader, catalyst and resource for philanthropy; - Supporting and strengthening local nonprofit organizations - Providing flexible and cost-effective ways for donors to benefit their community. - Identifying needs and making strategic grants in areas of art, cultural, human services, education, recreation, environment, and civic improvements. - Participating in coalitions with other community groups; - Building endowments to help meet future community needs. Our goal is to raise $10 million in charitable gifts and bequests by 2010. We believe that people working together can make a difference!
